The G-Star study aims to record the cooperative structures of Austrian crisis management and to assess the resilience of the national network. The potential and dangers of overcoming silo structures are recorded in the context of new information and communication technology structures and exceptional crisis scenarios for the individual stakeholders (blue light organisations, public administration, civil society, etc.). In addition, possible processes for increased cooperation and improved integration of the civilian population are identified. Based on this analysis, a decision-making basis for improving the adaptive capacities of the civilian population, the active crisis management actors, and ultimately the comprehensive security precautions in Austria should be created. Finally, the study results should contribute to improving cooperation between the individual stakeholders of Austrian crisis management.
