DCNA stands for equality and equal opportunities for all people - regardless of their gender, gender identity, social and ethnic origin, age, physical disposition and sexual orientation.

This is also specifically defined in DCNA's Gender Equality Plan: Everyone should have the same opportunities to contribute their skills in the various areas of activity (research, networking, knowledge transfer, etc.). To achieve this overarching goal, DCNA is committed to identifying, making visible and working on (in)formal structures and processes that contribute to the (re)production of inequalities of opportunity in the various areas of activity.
